The Covered Bridge Inn Brattleboro, Brattleboro

I found the hotel to be conveniently located next to popular fast-food chains like McDonald's, Wendy's, and Dunkin Donuts, which was great. The rooms, though not very spacious, served their purpose for a short stay. However, the noise levels from other guests were a bit disruptive during my time there.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. Although the room had a stale smoke odor covered up by deodorizer, it did have all the essential amenities such as a microwave, refrigerator, iron, and hairdryer. The room was decently sized and fairly clean. The service provided by the housekeeping staff was impressive, with them being accommodating, friendly, and even reminding us of the check-out time. The location was very convenient, close to Keene State College and downtown Brattleboro, with a variety of stores and restaurants nearby. The dining experience, despite being at a budget-friendly hotel, exceeded expectations with a fresh and tasty continental breakfast. However, the difficulty in making a left turn onto Rt 5 was a slight inconvenience. Overall, a good value for money option with friendly staff and a convenient location.

The hotel had a mixed experience with some drawbacks like musty and filthy rooms despite attempts to freshen up with air freshener, along with lingering smoke smell in a designated non-smoking room. On the positive side, the service was excellent, offering a friendly and family-like atmosphere. The location was convenient for various activities, but the dining options were sub-standard. Overall, a stay with some ups and downs.
